⬇️ Pidgin ⬇️ ⬇️ Black American Slang ⬇️ English

G.O.P. dey face correct gbege inside dem party wey dey make plenty pipu fear sey di wahala fit make dem no carry majority for House. Plenty pipu dey yan sey di way Representative Jim Jordan dey ehn, e fit don make some Republicans wey support am dey for hot soup.

For California for dat 45th Congressional District, for side Western Avenue for Buena Park, dem wan show big billboard wey get photo of Representative Michelle Steel waka sidon near ex-President Donald J. Trump and that Jim Jordan wey dey very strong for Ohio wey she vote give two times dis week to be speaker. 📸

The board talk sey, “Rep. Steel dey support bad tin, make una stop am.”

Na Progressive Change Campaign Committee pay for this advert. Dem wan use am tackle Republicans like Ms. Steel, wey dey represent area wey President Biden win for 2020. About twelve Republicans wey dey shaky for House don stand up dis week give their vote to make Mr. Jordan dey next to president.🗳️

Another group, Congressional Integrity Project, don start digital advert for same area dey focus on top Mr. Jordan and how e wan overthrow 2020 election.

“Every House Republican wey vote for Jim Jordan for speaker suppose carry blame for how e wan turn 2020 election upside down, how e take play part for Jan. 6 wrong election mata, and how e still dey attack our democracy,” Na wetin Kyle Herrig, wey be oga for one organization talk.

Dis fresh gbege wey dey happen for House Republican don spoil G.O.P. name. E don make dem no get leader and one side of Congress no fit do anytin for more than two weeks. The wahala dey increase chance sey Democrats fit collect majority next year. E also dey give them chance dey throw shots for their campaign, dey call Republicans right-wing people wey no fit rule.

Di matter dey pain country, dey pain Congress, and e dey pain our party,” na wetin Representative Don Bacon of Nebraska talk, e dey among di 18 Republicans wey represent area wey Mr. Biden win for 2020. “E put us for bad position for next November.” 📅

E talk sey some hard-right members wey try remove Speaker Kevin McCarthy dis month and start dis big confusion “just wan dey minority.”

Bacon come add: “I think say dem prefer am. So dem fit just say no dey shout any how.”

Dis Nebraska man no support Mr. Jordan, but e and other correct Republicans dey fear sey no matter who dem finally pick as speaker, di way Ohio Republican dey ehn, e dey boost Democrats to link them to di very strong members of their party, wey fit make dem no win seat for 2024.

But Democrats no dey carry last, dem don dey use every chance take condemn Mr. Jordan and Republicans wey support am.

“Jim Jordan na head boy for MAGA bad pipu,” Representative Hakeem Jeffries of New York, wey be minority leader, talk dat one on Tuesday night.

For one talk wey e give for House, where e nominate Mr. Jeffries for speaker, Representative Pete Aguilar of California talk plenti tins against Mr. Jordan. E say if dem vote am as speaker, e no go good for di country and our friends dem.

As for Mr. Jordan, e be one kain founder of strong group Freedom Caucus and e follow hand strong for Mr. Trump wayo way to turn 2020 election. E make plenty House Republicans no know wetin to do.

If e happen say Mr. Jordan win — wey no dey likely now after e lose second vote — e go just show say House G.O.P. na just people wey dey follow Trump anyhow. And if e no win, di confusion fit still dey, make pipu see Republicans as people wey no fit rule.

For Republicans wey dey represent area wey e dey hot, e be like sey damage don already happen no matter how e be, or how many votes dem do.

Democrats don dey show data from YouGov Blue, where dem talk say 63 percent of pipu say make moderate Republicans work with Democrats for better rule. Only 37 percent say make dem only work with other Republicans to pick new speaker.📊

Some Republicans dey yan sey dem no fit win if dem send message to people say dem believe say election no pure and Jan. 6 na just small tour for Capitol.

But some Republicans wey dey chop life dey see all the drama as just small tin.

Dan Conston, wey be oga for big Republican group, talk sey when everything set, nothing go change. E say their own pipu strong pass Democrats own.

But all the winsh and jazz wey dey around, strategists talk sey e no easy for Republicans to win as dem expect. One big tin wey don change since na say Republicans no fit show say dem fit rule.

Even though wahala dey for speaker matter, strategists dey yan say even if no gbege dey, mainstream Republicans for still face wahala with Mr. Trump dey likely to dey their party top.

Some Republicans dey hope sey their voters go separate them from the wahala wey dey their party.

“I believe say if we dey true and sincere with people wey we dey represent, dem go judge us well,” na so Representative Marc Molinaro of New York talk.

G.O.P Drama might mess up their House game! 🔥

The drama poppin’ off within the G.O.P is makin’ the crew look kinda weak. Folks are sweatin’, thinkin’ that since Jim Jordan’s been all up in it, it’s gonna be bad news for the Republicans ridin’ with him.

Over in California’s 45th Congressional District, on Western Avenue in Buena Park, there’s this huge billboard showin’ Representative Michelle Steel kickin’ it with ex-President Donald J. Trump and Jim Jordan, the GOP big shot from Ohio she backed twice this week for the speaker role.

“Rep. Steel’s with the drama,” that billboard’s spittin’. “Don’t co-sign that drama.” ✋

The Progressive Change Campaign Committee footed the bill for this ad. They’re tryna throw shade at Republicans like Ms. Steel, representin’ spots where Biden took the win in 2020. Some G.O.P heads in the hot seat stood up in the House this week votin’ to slide Mr. Jordan into that number two presidential seat. 🗳️

This other squad, the Congressional Integrity Project, they dropped a digital ad in the same hood, talkin’ ’bout Mr. Jordan and his moves to flip the 2020 election.

All this beef brewin’ inside the House Republican scene’s got the G.O.P’s rep slippin’. The party’s lookin’ like they ain’t got a captain right now, and one side of Congress been M.I.A for over two weeks. This mess has folks thinkin’ the Democrats might snatch the throne next year. The Dems got mad ammo for their campaign, sayin’ Republicans are outta their minds and can’t run the show.

“This ain’t good for our nation; ain’t good for Congress; it’s makin’ our team look bad,” is what Representative Don Bacon from Nebraska had to say, being one of the 18 Republicans reppin’ areas where Biden secured the bag in 2020. “This is settin’ us up for a fall next November.”

He’s sayin’ those hardheads in his crew who tried to boot out Speaker Kevin McCarthy earlier this month and caused the ruckus “they’re cool with takin’ L’s.”

Bacon added, “I guess they just wanna stay loud all the time.”

The Nebraska rep wasn’t feelin’ Mr. Jordan’s moves, but he and other straight-shootin’ G.O.P members are nervous that, regardless of who they rock with as speaker, bringin’ the Ohio Republican into the mix might’ve given the Dems a chance to group them with the wild ones in their party. Might cost them in 2024. 🎯

But the Dems? They ain’t missin’ a chance to call out Mr. Jordan and the Republicans ridin’ with him.

“Jim Jordan’s all about that MAGA drama,” is what Representative Hakeem Jeffries from New York, the minority leader, had to spit on Tuesday night.

When Representative Pete Aguilar from Cali, the No. 3 House Democrat, was speakin’ on nominatin’ Mr. Jeffries for speaker, he threw shots at Mr. Jordan that could straight up be used against any Republican backin’ him.

“Today’s vote for someone against women’s rights, doubting the election, and fuelin’ the January 6 chaos as speaker, sends a twisted message to the nation and our supporters,” Aguilar said.

Now, look at Mr. Jordan. Dude’s a heavy hitter in the hardcore conservative Freedom Caucus and had a big hand in Trump’s game plan to contest the 2020 election results. That’s put a lot of House Republicans in a tight spot.

If Jordan takes it — which looks kinda shaky after losin’ the second vote — it just stamps that the House G.O.P is filled with Trump’s loyal crew. But if the hardhead doesn’t secure it, the chaos continues, showin’ Republicans just ain’t fit to run things.

For the regular Republicans tryna rep areas with a mix, damage’s been done, no matter how the vote plays out.

“It’s tough to front as a peacemaker when you’re backin’ someone against all of that, basically the antithesis of someone with sense,” is what Geoff Garin, a Democratic pollster, said.

Democrats are flippin’ data from YouGov Blue, a hub for the progressive and Democratic side, showin’ 63% of folks polled believe those regular Republicans should work with the Dems to keep things balanced. Only 37% think they should stick to their own crew for a new speaker.

Some Republicans confessed on Tuesday.

“If we’re out here claimin’ the election was jacked, and January 6 was all play, we ain’t winnin’,” said Representative Ken Buck, a Republican from Colorado, on CNN. Buck’s one of the 22 Republicans who didn’t back Mr. Jordan. Dude said it’s ’cause Jordan hasn’t admitted Biden took 2020.

Still, there’s Republicans sayin’ all this is just talk, somethin’ folks will forget by next November.

“Our reps are solid, and they’ve made a name,” Dan Conston, the head honcho of the main House Republican super PAC, said.

But politically, not much has changed since last year. Republicans didn’t dominate like they hoped, barely clinchin’ the House majority. The only real change is that House Republicans have shown they’re strugglin’.

Some strategists believe even without this speaker drama, regular Republicans would’ve faced challenges since Trump would likely be the big name on their ticket.

Some Republicans from those areas spoke up, hoping voters will see past the drama clouding their team.

“I’ll be judged by my actions, and my opponent by theirs,” said Representative Marc Molinaro of New York, who backed Mr. Jordan and reps an area Biden took in 2020. “I truly believe, at the end of the day, if we’re genuine and authentic in our work, folks will judge us by that.”

Another group, di Congressional Integrity Project, dem don start digital advert for di same area, dem dey talk about Mr. Jordan and how e try turn over di 2020 election.

All this fight-fight wey dey happen inside House Republican e don spoil G.O.P. name. The party no get leader again and one side of Congress don dey sleep for over two weeks. All this wahala dey make people think say Democrats fit collect the big chair next year. E don give Democrats strong matter to dey talk for their campaign, dem dey say Republicans na people wey their brain don touch, dem no fit rule.

“This kind thing, e no good for our country; e no good for Congress; e dey spoil our party,” na wetin Representative Don Bacon from Nebraska talk, him na one of di 18 Republicans wey dey represent place wey Mr. Biden win for 2020. “E dey put us inside one-way for next November.”

Him talk say those people for his party wey get strong head wey wan push out Speaker Kevin McCarthy earlier this month and make di whole thing scatter “dem like am when dem dey down.”

Mr. Bacon talk again: “I think say dem prefer am so. So that dem fit just dey shout upandan all the time.”

The Nebraska man no gree for Mr. Jordan plan, but him and other normal G.O.P. people dey fear say, no matter who dem finally choose as speaker, the way dem carry Ohio Republican enter the matter don only help Democrats to dey yoke them with the strong head people for their party. E fit make dem lose their seats for 2024. 🎯

But Democrats dey use every chance to dey shout on top Mr. Jordan, and Republicans wey dey support am.

“Jim Jordan na di face of MAGA wahala,” na wetin Representative Hakeem Jeffries from New York, wey be the minority leader, talk for Tuesday night.

When Representative Pete Aguilar from California, the No. 3 House Democrat, wan talk why dem nominate Mr. Jeffries for speaker, him drop matter against Mr. Jordan wey fit be like campaign attack against any Republican wey dey support am.

“Today vote to make person wey want stop women from getting belle, person wey no believe say election correct, and person wey cause January 6 trouble to be speaker of this House, e go be very bad message to country and our people wey dey support,” Mr. Aguilar talk.

For di side of Mr. Jordan, him na big man for the very strong conservative Freedom Caucus and him play big role for Mr. Trump plan to turn over the 2020 election result, e don put many House Republicans for corner where dem no go fit win.

If Mr. Jordan win — which e be like say e no fit happen on Wednesday after he lose second vote — e go just confirm say House G.O.P. na group wey full of Mr. Trump people wey dey loyal to am. And if di man wey get strong head no win, di confusion for House go continue, and e go just show say Republicans no fit rule at all.

For di normal Republicans wey dey represent area wey get both sides, di damage don done already, no matter how the vote take end.

“It hard to show yourself as person wey wan make peace and balance when you dey vote for person wey no gree for any peace and balance and na di opposite of person wey get sense,” na wetin Geoff Garin, wey be Democratic pollster, talk.

Democrats dey share data from YouGov Blue, research place for progressives and Democratic people, wey show say 63 percent of people wey dem ask for recent survey say those normal Republicans suppose work with Democrats to make sure say government balance. Only 37 percent say those normal Republicans suppose just work with other Republicans to choose new speaker.

Some Republicans dey admit say di truth don come out on Tuesday.

“If we show people say we believe say dem steal the election, and we believe say January 6 na just play, we no fit win,” na wetin Representative Ken Buck, Republican from Colorado, talk for CNN. Mr. Buck na one of the 22 Republicans wey no gree vote for Mr. Jordan on Wednesday. Him talk say him no gree because Mr. Jordan never gree say Mr. Biden win the 2020 election.

However, some Republicans dey talk say make people forget this wahala wey just dey happen as “inside town talk” wey people go forget by next year November.

“Our people wey dey represent area dey strong and dem don dey make their name,” Dan Conston, the oga for the main House Republican super PAC, talk.

However, the political weather no too different from last year, when Republicans no fit win big as people think and dem just get House majority by small. One of the only things wey don change since then na say House Republicans show say dem no fit rule.

Some strategists talk say even if this fight for speaker no happen, normal Republicans for swing area for don face hard political challenge because Mr. Trump most likely go be the top person for their party ticket.

Some Republicans from these kind areas talk this week say dem hope say voters go fit separate them from this wahala wey surround their party.

“I go be judged by the work wey I do, and the person wey wan run against me go be judged based on their own waka,” na wetin Representative Marc Molinaro of New York, wey vote for Mr. Jordan and represents area wey Mr. Biden win for 2020, talk. “I truly believe say at the end of the day, if we dey sincere and true to the people wey we dey represent and real in that work, dem go judge us based on that.”
